Bobcat beginning to end: sewing

Gore level 1

Now with the form ready and the base prepped, it’s time to sew the skin onto the form. Of course that’s not as simple a thing as it sounds. Continue reading

Bob cat beginning to end: rock goo

Gore level 1
Rock goo. It comes as a gritty whitish powder. You add water and coloring too it, mix it all together and slather it on with your hand. Quickly. Because, as I found out the first time I used the stuff, it sets up pretty quickly. Continue reading

Bob cat beginning to end: forming the base

Gore level 1

So our bob cat cant just be floating in the air, that means I need to make him a base to stand on. The customer wanted a rock like base and that’s what I made him. Now real rocks are waaaaay to heavy and to hard to work with, so I have to make some fake rocks. Continue reading

That’s just the way it is. With shoulder mounts you can fudge a lot. Body mounts need to be at least close to the right size. Woman spinning on a drop spindle (this is just cool to watch)

And finally, the song of the week: Trigger by ¬†Fox Stevenson (I think this song summarizes where I’m at in my writing career quite nicely :P ).
